Director Bioprocessing/Bioprocess Engineer CDI Bioscience is a cell line engineering and contract manufacturing corporation. We are an industry leader in increasing protein yields of biologic products that is currently at an exciting growth and expansion stage. We have patented our technology for increasing protein production (RP Shift®) and high-yielding CHO cell lines (PACE cells®). Our clients include some of the largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the industry. Job Summary The position responsibilities include: 1. Directing the Bioprocessing team to optimize media components and supplements. 2. Develop and validate protocols and assays. 3. Manage fed-batch and hollow fiber bioreactor production campaigns 4. Directly interact with customers and suppliers 5. Manage GMP quality assurance and documentation Qualifications The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with running a New Brunswick fed-batch bioreactor, familiarity with hollow fiber systems and an understanding of all aspects of running a bioreactor for producing protein-based products including the following: • Bioprocessing system Startup • GMP manufacturing experience • Media Optimization • Feed Strategies • Improving the Stability of Protein Therapeutics • Quality & Validation Documentation CDI Bioscience will provide an attractive compensation package including a base salary commensurate with experience, comprehensive healthcare insurance, 401K, stock options and relocation assistance.
